Rian Hotel

The location was good as the Jongno 3-ga subway station, which is an interchange for 3 lines, is only a 2-minute walk away. The exit was one of the few at the station with an elevator, so that was helpful as there are many stairs in a Korean subway station. The room was not exceptional in any sense, but functional and clean.

The staff were always happy to help and answer any questions I had about the surrounding area and even transportation. Even when we had a problem with our bathroom they offered us a room change. The hotel is also in a great location being walking distance to 2 train stations. You are able to access the green, orange, dark blue and purple lines. This made it very easy to get around Seoul without having to transfer trains. CU convenience store is also right outside the hotel and a pork bbq. There are many food options around the hotel. It is also a 10 minute walk to Ikseondong and a 5 minute walk to Insadong. One station away from Anguk which has many popular cafes and restaurants. Gwangjang Market is also a 10minute walk.

the location was very convenient and in between two lines, so it makes it very accessible. night buses stops nearby, so no worries for coming back late at night. every day the staff give new towels and the place us quiet enough to have a good sleep.

Great hotel, comfortable room exactly as pictured.. staff were friendly and helpful. Metro station 3 minutes walk away, Authentic korean BBQ restaurant next door 17,000 Won per portion(150g) of pork belly with a bunch of sides. Convenience store 20 metres away. To get here from Incheon airport either bus 6002 get off at Jongno 3(17,000 won) or take AREX express train to seoul station and transfer to line 1 and go 3 stops to Jongno 3 station(exit 15) Go down the alley next to the pharmacy and follow it until you see the large hotel at the end on the right.

Very well located small hotel situated right near a good metro line, traditional restaurants, the stream etc. Room was a reasonable size, clean, quiet with no noise from other guests or surrounds. Staff were helpful. Good place to stay if you are going to be out all day enjoying Seoul and want an accessible, pleasant and reasonably priced place to stay. We will stay here next time. Get the 6002 bus from Incheon or the train and change once to Jongno 3 Exit 14 or 15.
